Terms of Service

IN SHORT
01
Agreement
Using Baxter means accepting these terms.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Baxter Inc. (“Baxter”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Baxter Chrome extension, the free Gmail Unsubscribe by Baxter Chrome extension, the Baxter dashboard at customer.usebaxter.com, and related services (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02
The service
What Baxter does — always at your direction.
Baxter helps you organize your Gmail inbox: labeling and foldering senders, unsubscribing from senders you select (including creating Gmail filters that archive their future mail), cleaning up mail according to rules you create, and drafting replies for your review. Actions that change your mailbox happen because you enabled or requested them, and many can be undone from the dashboard. Baxter is not affiliated with Google; Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC.
03
Your account
Sign in with Google; keep your access yours.
- You need a Google account to use Baxter, and you must have the right to connect the mailbox you connect.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure.
- You may disconnect Baxter's access at any time from your Google account permissions; the Service stops acting on your mailbox once access is revoked.
04
Plans, billing & cancellation
Simple subscriptions, processed by Stripe.
- Some features are free; others require a paid subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown at purchase, and payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel from the dashboard at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Where trials are offered, their terms are shown when you start the trial.
- For billing questions or issues, contact [email protected].
05
Acceptable use
Don't break it, don't abuse it.
- Don't use the Service to violate any law, send spam, or infringe others' rights.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Don't resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service, and don't reverse-engineer it except where the law permits.
- Don't connect a mailbox you are not authorized to manage.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
06
Your data
Your mailbox stays yours — our access is scoped and revocable.
Your email belongs to you. How we access, use, protect, and delete data — including our Google API Limited Use commitments — is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
07
Intellectual property
We own the Service; you own your content.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Baxter and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own inbox while these Terms are in effect. You retain all rights to your email and any content you provide (such as drafting knowledge-base notes).
08
Disclaimers
Email automation has limits — review what matters.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Mail categorization, unsubscribe attempts, and AI-generated drafts can be imperfect: senders may ignore unsubscribe requests, filters follow the rules you set, and drafts should always be reviewed before you send them. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
09
Limitation of liability
Our liability is capped, to the extent the law allows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baxter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10
Termination
Leave any time; so can we, with reason.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for data deletion). We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access for violations of these Terms, to comply with law, or if we discontinue the Service; where practical, we will give reasonable notice.
11
Changes to these terms
We'll post updates here.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
