Auto-Clean: Rules That Keep Your Inbox Tidy

Some mail you don't want to unsubscribe from but don't want cluttering your inbox either — receipts, alerts, promotions. Auto-Clean handles exactly that.

How a rule works

An Auto-Clean rule has a condition and an action. Conditions can match a sender, a domain, or a subject keyword. The action is either Remove from Inbox (archive it, keep it searchable) or Move to Trash.

Create your first rule

Open Auto-Clean and choose Create rule.
Name it and pick a condition — for example, domain is deals.com.
Choose Remove from Inbox or Move to Trash, and save.

See everything Baxter cleaned

The History tab shows every message Auto-Clean has acted on, so nothing happens behind your back. If a rule is too aggressive, adjust it any time.
